Permission To Use Pictures Located at Ruinedmetropolis.com
There are no "rules" for using any picture I have on this site*, and written permission is not necessary. All the pictures throughout these pages belong to me; I took every one of them over a period of several years with more than one camera. If you want or need to use one, then use it. If you feel like you have to give someone credit, cite the source as "ruinedmetropolis.com." If you're doing something more technical then you may cite the website according to any of the online manuals of style that can be found by doing an internet search. Please credit all copied writing to the same.
*The above does not necessarily apply to pictures posted on the ruinedmetropolis blog at http://www.ruinedmetropolis.blogspot.com/ as these pictures may not be owned by the metropolis. On this site, third party pictures will always be identified if and when they are used.
Contact Info
The fastest and quickest way to contact me is to leave a private message in the guestbook or post to the Ruined Metropolis blog. I don't post my email because of increasing amounts of spam and I do not use instant messengers of any sort. You can also use my contact page, though it may take a couple of weeks to get a reply that way.
Page History
- From June 2006 - April 2007 these pages were hosted on Yahoo! Geocities. I moved them because I do not like the advertisements on "free" webhosts.
- All my pages were tested in IE 6-7, Mozilla Firefox 2, and Opera. A test in the latest version of Netscape (8 or 9, can't remember) was also done, and the pages still look good. I downloaded Opera just to check the page and discovered that it works well also, so much so that I now use it almost exclusively.
- April 19, 2007, ruinedmetropolis.com is, for all practical purposes, complete. Updates continue on a weekly basis.
- August-September, 2007, complete site update; Early American music page added.
- October, 2007, minor updates occuring, mainly with link exchanges and graphic headers, but also some odds and end pages (Halloween study); Lovecraft tribute, Antique Newpapers, and Games pages added.
- January-February, 2008. Ruinedmetropolis.com. Getting 20-25 hits a day and still a work in progress.
Linking
I have several graphics that can be used to link to this site and/or the Texas T&T pages. These are (naturally) primarily for my friends (who know me personally), however I'm not opposed to swapping links with other site owners.
