Antique Newspaper Articles & Advertisements - Updated: 4/9/08
Over the course of the last 25 years, ruinedmetropolis.com has explored many places and collected many things. In those years I have managed to find (not buy!) and collect a wide variety of antique newspapers and publications. In fact, I now own about three dozen antique newspapers, dating from 1899 to 1946.
The purpose of these pages is to share some scans of advertisements, clippings and sometimes even articles from these old papers. These will be of interest to anyone who enjoys history, and may even be of assistance for those who need historical information for certain roleplaying games.
I hope you enjoy this growing effort; drop me a note in the guestbook (top menu) or use my contact page (Webmaster link at bottom of page) and let me know what you think. You have permission to copy and use these scans - just remember, some of them are large; sizes are given below. If you do use something from these pages, drop me a line.
