5 Days a Stranger is a point-and-click adventure/horror game that was made in 2003 by Fully Ramblomatic. It is the first game of a four part series entitled The Chzo Mythos. The game was created with the Adventure Game Studio.
The last of the DeFoe heirs have died under mysterious circumstances, leaving the old DeFoe Mansion deserted. Trilby the cat burglar (a dandy complete with suit, tie, and derby) sees the deserted mansion as a potential payday and decides to pay a visit. Once inside the house he discovers that he along with four other people (including a news reporter and a treasure hunter) has been locked inside by some unknown intelligence. As the group quickly discovers, the invisible agency will stop at nothing to keep them in the house - even murder.
