Hayes Bros. Soda Bottle

This is a rather old soda bottle which has been variously dated as late 1890's to the early 1920's. It was produced by Hayes Bros. out of Chicago, Illinois. This is the kind of bottle which originally produced a "POP" noise when opened, thereby leading to the use of the term "soda pop."
