Artifacts and Other Finds - Updated: 9/26/07

Most of the time I abide by the cardinal rule of exploration: take nothing but pictures and leave nothing behind. However, some hobbies like metal detecting and bottle hunting can't follow this rule. Some of those finds are what I have on these pages; I call them artifacts.

By definition, an artifact is something that shows human workmanship or modification, so technically all the pictures here are not artifacts. Since they don't seem to fit anywhere else, I included them all here, which is good enough for me. I also realize that most readers probably expect to see lame pictures of such things as arrowheads and other items. I have a few such things that I've found over the years that I'll post up at a later time, but I actually don't have too much of that type of thing since I won't dig for it. Anyway, doing so will get you some (well deserved) jail time in some places.
