The Adventurer Approved Pages Award - Historic Expressions Awards
The AAP/Historic Expressions Awards are given to interesting web pages that contain significant amounts of the following information:
- Historical information (history)
- Adventure related material (trips to exotic places, biographies of explorers, personal accounts, etc.)
- Urbex (urban exploration)
- Treasure hunting (metal detecting, etc.)
- Antiques
- Writing, fiction, poetry; i.e. Lovecraftian, Cthulhu Mythos, etc.
Does this criteria fit your pages? If so, send an email to the ruins at the address shown in the following graphic. Just add "AAP Apply" to the subject line of your email and you're in business. Ruinedmetropolis.com looks forward to your mail!
The awards are not shown on this page. Winners receive awards by email or a link to an award page where they may retrieve the image. The awards are small .gif images measuring 90 by 80 for the AAP Award and 150 pixels by 150 for the Historic Expressions Awards. Currently there are two Historic Expressions images: one for light colored pages and one for dark pages; all are stored here on another page. Occasionally, specialty awards are given to my favorite pages. These are created as the need arises and they are not stored on this site, but I keep each one on my PC and so they are available to individual webmasters should the original be lost.
